'GIT YER CON ON!'
News from a Freelancer

Thank you fans and visitors old and new for checking out my little corner of the 'internets' here on my website.  I truly do appreciate every little bit of support, criticism, guidance and applause that you send my way.  Whatever our relationship is, know that it is valued.

It's been 4 years now since I left my previous career as a Construction Manager in the greater Seattle area to pursue a dream and let my passion in fantasy and super-hero artwork carry me, and my family, as far as it can take us.  I have aspirations of greater things in this field of creativity and messaging through story and art, and am looking forward to decades of production for you all.

Some awesome things are in the works, most of which I need to keep a lid on, so all I can say is, 'Stay Tuned!'....All will be revealed in time.

All the Best, Jason
CONVENTION SCENE:  2013 WILD WEST TOUR CONTINUES!

It was 9 degrees at the Albuquerque Comicon on January 11.  But the green chillis kept me warm, that and the coffee.  And the fans of course.  When I think desert, I usually think blistering sun, cactus and scorpions.  Well, it was blistering cold, the cactus were frozen, and the scorpions went to Mexico I think.   Luckily, the locals were stranded and quite a few of them turned out for the show, nice and cozy at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino a few minutes south of downtown.  And Noah Hathaway is a cool cat.

Two weeks later I flew to 'warmer' Phoenix Arizona, where, appearantly, I brought my native Seattle rain storms with me.  I was hoping for a little sun, as my vitamin D depleted system is screaming for some rays.  But, OH NO!  It just had to rain the whole time I was there!  So, I follow up freezing desert with raining desert.  By the way, the sidewalks in Phoenix are not sloped to wick standing water away into the streets like they are here in Seattle.  Luckily, my hotel was kind enough to shuttle me to the convention center each morning - nice extra perk!  And the Phoenix crowd was just as nice as the Albuquerque crowd.  Let's hope there's sun in Dallas next weekend - please!
